In everyday school life

Learning Support and Tutoring

Close support with schoolwork, using strategies that respect the pace and learning style of each child.

Why learning support

Learning made to measure

Learning support for children with dyslexia is not like ordinary tutoring. Explaining the same thing again in the same way isn't enough — it takes different strategies, adapted to each child's learning profile.

Our teachers have specific training in learning difficulties. They know the strategies that work — and those that don't — for someone who processes information differently.

Who it's for

Pupils from primary to lower-secondary school

Core subjects

Portuguese and Maths are core subjects: they shape reasoning and expression and open the way to everything else. A child who reads, writes and calculates with confidence learns more easily across every other area.

That's why we pay special attention to these two foundations. We work on reading, writing and arithmetic in an adapted way, so that each pupil builds solid groundwork and carries it across to other subjects.

Study methods

Knowing how to study is also something you learn. We help pupils build study skills and strategies that make learning more effective and, little by little, more independent.

  • Organising study time and space.
  • Picking out the essentials, summarising and revising with method.
  • Preparing for tests and easing exam nerves calmly.

We also involve parents and guardians, with simple guidance to support study at home without tension — so that the work done at the clinic keeps bearing fruit day to day.

Regular sessions

Work on the subjects with adapted strategies and positive reinforcement.

Coordination with the school

Communication with teachers to align strategies, whenever parents wish.
