Paediatrics Consultation
Paediatric medical assessment alongside dyslexia intervention — for a complete approach that considers the child's health as a whole.
Health at the centre of the plan
Learning difficulties sometimes have medical components that need to be assessed and monitored. Issues with vision, hearing, sleep or attention can co-occur with dyslexia and influence how a child responds to intervention.
Having a paediatrician on our team allows for an integrated assessment, where the medical and educational dimensions complement each other — without the family having to coordinate multiple specialists alone.
Who it's for
Children and young people
Areas of intervention
The paediatrics consultation focuses on the diagnosis and monitoring of various developmental and behavioural difficulties in childhood and adolescence:
- Developmental difficulties — when a child grows at a different pace from what is expected in areas such as language, motor skills or interaction.
- ADHD — Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder — a persistent difficulty in sustaining attention, controlling impulsivity or regulating activity.
- School difficulties — when learning at school does not match the child's effort and deserves to be understood in depth.
- Behavioural difficulties — patterns of behaviour that worry the family and benefit from specialist guidance.
Teamwork, in the service of the child
Paediatrics does not work in isolation. It coordinates with the clinic's other services so that the medical, educational and therapeutic perspectives complement one another within a single, shared and coherent plan.
This integrated approach makes it possible to define strategies that, as early as possible, promote the child's harmonious development — with the family supported at every step, without having to coordinate specialists alone.
